Bill Atherton: As many of you know, Bill has been under ongoing treatment for cancer for some time. He is going through a rough time right now so your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Cards and emails are welcome. However, it is requested that there be no visits or phone calls at this time.
Paul Turley has been hospitalized at the Vet's Hospital in Phoenix. He is in isolation due to infection, so visits are not allowed. Dehydration continues to be a problem for him also. He may be able to take phone calls. However, cards to his home will be delivered to him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Bob Scheetz is home recovering from angioplasty. His blockage was in a place not able to receive a stent. Hopefully, this will be the answer for him after a very long and frustrating year in the medical and insurance maze.
John Albee is home recovering from surgery. Take care, John. Hope to see you back at the field soon.
Norm Benoit made a surprise visit to Liberty Field, looking a lot like Santa. He donated a very nice computer monitor to the Liberty Clubhouse. It was good to see him. Norm says that after 3 surgeries, the new knee still isn't right. He did make it all the way up the clubhouse stairs though! Thanks Norm and take care of that heart.
