Bruce Brady: from Marlene

We are home and Bruce is doing well.  He sleeps a lot and is still experiencing some head pain.  Doctor said he would for about the next 2 weeks.  The surgery went smoothly and took about 3 hours. An MRI on Thurs. showed the stent is in place and healing.  He will go for a follow up MRI in 3 months to check it's healing again. But other than a week or so of resting, he will be back on the softball field in no time.

Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers. We both talked about the prayer chains and how everyone was thinking and praying for him on Wednesday.  We felt supported.  We both believe in the power of prayer and felt very comforted.  We are so blessed with good friends.  Thank you, thank you.

Bill Atherton: As many of you know, Bill has been under ongoing treatment for cancer for some time. He is going through a rough time right now so your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.  Cards and emails are welcome.  However, it is requested that there be no visits or phone calls at this time.

Bill Lince was welcomed by his team mates at the field Thursday.  He is looking good and says he is feeling fine, except for the little "owie" on his upper chest where a pacemaker/defibrillator was placed recently.  He hopes to be back playing ball in January.

Bob MacIntosh will be sidelined until January. He caught a ball on the end of his finger which resulted in destroying the fingertip. He says he will carry a reminder of that painful day for the rest of his life by way of a deformed finger with no nail.

Congratulations Wayne and Dawn Conn!  They have both been smoke free for over a month.  Now if Dawn's head would just stop hurting from being beaned by a foul ball last week!
