Bobby Latzo  called to report that wife Barb's surgery was completed on 11/24 and went very well. The cancer in her mouth appears to be localized in the tissue removed and does not appear to have gone into the bone. As a precaution, some teeth, a salivary gland and lymph nodes in her neck were removed, but looked okay.  They still will be sent for testing.  She came home on 11/25 with a drainage tube which Bobby has become very proficient in taking care of. She is able to eat soft foods already and has amazed her doctors with her recovery so far. (Linda G.)

Bruce Brady was welcomed by all to the field on Sunday.  He is still experiencing some headaches. His scans and other test results are to be reviewed on 11/26 by neurology specialists to determine next steps.  He really appreciates all the calls, cards, etc. Thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Bruce and his family. Hal Noonan has put in a couple of appearances since his medical nightmare began in September.  He had a stent placed at that time and then had one bad thing happen after another. Hal says he is trying to get used to taking so many meds each day as he never took any until September or October.  Anyhow, it's good to see him back at the fields again. (Linda G.)
