Wes Horen will be sitting out this session due to a cyst on his lower spine. Unfortunately, his mobility is limited, so not only is he restricted from playing ball, he can't do yard work either. But he hopes to come see a few games from the peanut gallery.
Wayne Mitchell is recovering nicely from knee replacement surgery performed on 08/30/2007 at Del Webb through the CORE Group. After the surgery,he sent Ann home to rest for a couple of hours and when she went back to the hospital, she found him walking down the hall! So all is well. Wayne says it only hurts when he does the rehab exercises.
Maryllin Meirs was scheduled to have a port placed today for her on-going chemo treatments. Can you believe she was actually playing ball last Friday?! You go, Girl.
Norm Benoit was scheduled to have scar tissue "broken loose" around his new knee this afternoon and then returning to rehab tomorrow. He recently passed out and fell at home serving a cup of tea to wife Janet. He got a broken nose Further tests showed no problem with the heart and doctors feel the fainting spell may have been caused by being over-medicated. He has also lost 26 pounds due to all the exercising he has been doing in the pool, so we may not recognize him when he shows up to play this fall!
