Update: Maryllin is back home from a recent hospital visit and says she really enjoyed getting a good night's sleep.

Maryllin Miers, a long time 1st baseman for the Guys 'n Gals team on Mondays and Fridays, has been diagnosed with inoperable stomach cancer. She begins chemotherapy on Tuesday and says she can use all the prayers she can get. You certainly are in our thoughts and prayers, Maryllin, as is your hubby, Joe.

Bob Wentzell is in rehab following surgery on his neck.  His wife reports that he hopes to be back home this week.  Following recovery from this surgery, further surgery is planned on his back.  The doctor reported that had Bob not had the neck surgery when he did, he may well have become a paraplegic.  Instead, he is up and walking with help. 

Ozzie Ostrow reported in from Minnesota that they escaped the bridge collapse.  However, his wife had just gone across the bridge the day before!
