Bob Wenners reports that after nearly a year of treatment which was thought to be very successful, it was found last week via MRI that his lung cancer has spread to his brain. Full brain radiation has begun as of Monday February 15th. The goal is to put him into remission by shrinking the cancer away to nothing, surgery options are also being investigated. He remains symptom-free and is playing ball and hopes that continues. Bob and Diana ask for your continued thoughts and prayers.
Jim Boyum got a third opinion and he has decided against surgery.
He will be in a cast for 6 months, but the prognosis is good for recovering full
use of his foot.
Rich Bogosian underwent a spinal fusion of the L3,4 and 5 discs on February 11 at St. Joes Hospital. Barb actually got to bring her Valentine home on 02/14! All our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Harry Orn underwent a cardiac equipment procedure on Feb. 11th and is home recovering. Unfortunately, he will be sidelined for about 6 weeks, but hopes to be in the Peanut Gallery soon.
