Jim Boyum, new American League player, has learned that he will be out for the rest of the session due to upcoming foot surgery. Best wishes to you Jim, for a speedy recovery.  See you in the Peanut Gallery.

Tom Haroldson was struck in the forehead with a batted ball on 02/05 during the Friday League.  He was transported to the emergency room where tests were done.  No concussion or fractures were diagnosed.  He does have a very colorful eye and bump.  Otherwise, is feeling very lucky.

Mike Hester underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Feb. 4th. He is recovering well at home and has exercises to do.  He was hoping to be at the Cardiac Kids event on Feb. 6th, but the docs want him to take it easy for the weekend. Speedy recovery, Mike!

Roger Pribnow underwent successful shoulder surgery on Feb. 2 and is recovering well at home.  His rehab is scheduled to start on Monday.  Since Roger already had the other shoulder done and had much success with the surgery, he is confident the results will be the same with this one and he will be able to resume playing ball again.

Bob Renberg has been sidelined for the past week with some unexplained pain.  Well, the pain is no longer a mystery. He was diagnosed yesterday with an abdominal hernia and will have a CT scan done on Friday to decide on next steps.  As long as he was seeing doctors, he was able to get into the orthopedist and get a shot in his knee as well and schedule a couple of MRI's!  So Bob will be acting as a scorekeeper/coach for the Cardiac Kids' event this weekend.

Barb Shorty was very comforted by the nice turnout for Paul's Memorial Mass last Friday.  Please keep Barb in your thoughts and prayers as she moves on with the next phase of her life.
