Earl Zopf  is home following a recent hospitalization, where he was treated for pneumonia. Earl has decided to take the rest of the session off to recover. 

Marlene Brady, wife of Bruce, is recovering even better than expected from recent surgery on her hand.Yea!!

Bill Atherton

1934-2008

Bill Atherton passed away January 23, 2008.  He had been battling cancer for some time. At Bill's request, no services are planned. Bill loved softball and the softball club. Carol, his wife, has requested that the donation from Angels in the Outfield, in his name, be returned to the SCW Softball Club.  Bill will certainly be missed.

Father of Julie McGlynn passed away Sunday night, January 27 . Please keep Julie and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Bob Check is recovering from surgery for a bowel obstruction.  He is at Del Webb Hospital and can receive phone calls and short visits. Our thoughts are with Bob for another quick recovery.  His wife Jackie says he certainly must have 9 lives!

Don Kucharek was involved in a very serious car accident last Thursday afternoon and was air-lifted to the hospital.  According to friend, John Kaus, it appears that nothing was broken.  He is to get out of the hospital on 01/26, but may be sidelined for a few games due to stiffness and soreness.

Joe Dephillips  is home from the hospital, somewhat improved.  He is still under a doctor's care. Thoughts and prayers are with Joe and his family.
