Frank Welch update: 01/11  4 P.M.  I just spoke with Ginger and have wonderful news to report.  Frank saw the specialists today, had his nose re-alligned and is home napping this afternoon.  No surgery is needed!  He will become friends with an ice pack.  He and Ginger will enjoy walks together in the sunshine.  But Ginger says there is no reason he can't stand at the sink and wipe dishes or even do a little light dusting!  We'll save a temporary seat in the Peanut Gallery for you, Frank.(Linda G.)

Frank Welch, according to wife Ginger, suffered multiple facial fractures in a collision on the ball field today.  Ginger transported him to another hospital, (not sure which one yet), because he didn't want to be transported by ambulance.  Looks like possible surgery.  More info when we have it. Linda G.

Gary Green was the other half of the collision on the field.  He was transported as well, to confirm that his neck was not injured. He actually came back to the field this afternoon.

Herb Clark was swinging away today after an injury time-out.  Welcome back, Herb.
